CMN IHOP National Pancake Day
On February 28th, My princess (Trinity Cruz) and I spent time at the International-Drive IHOP collecting donations for Children's Miracle Network. IHOP restaurants graciously donated a free stack of pancakes for each costumer and encouraged a donation toward the CMN Hospitals. I enjoyed making pancakes with Trinity and interacting with customers! Each customer who donated $5 received a large paper balloon. It was remarkable to see the numerous balloons that were plastered throughout the IHOP walls!

On Sunday, February 12th, I attended a High Tea with Miss Florida 2011: Kristina Janolo, Miss Duval County 2012: Kalli Kearney, Merissa Amkraut, and the "Miracle Maker" Amelia Grace and her family at the Ponte Vedra Lodge! Amelia Grace raised $1,100 dollars for Children's Miracle Network by asking for donations outside of Publix, selling candy bars, and asking her relatives to donate! As a reward, Amelia Grace got the opportunity to have High Tea with Miss Florida 2011 and Miss Florida's Outstanding Teen 2011! I had such a fun time getting to know Amelia and her family. Thank you so much for raising money for CMN!

East West Shrine Game
On Saturday, January 21st I attended the East West Shrine Game held at the Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg. Since 1925, the Shriners East-West Game showcases the outstanding football athletes across the nation while supporting the Shriners Hospitals for Children. There was a tailgating event before the game with numerous Shriners, some patients, volunteers, and fans. Each event that I attend with the Shriners, I gain more appreciate for there dedication to the kids at the Shriners Hospitals. I feel so blessed to be a representative for this organization.
